Warsteiner withstands difficult market conditions in 2011
While the new beverages Warsteiner Radler and Warsteiner Radler Grapefruit grew by more than 42% in 2011, Warsteiner Alkoholfrei (non alcoholic beer), showed an increase of more than 45%. Including the export business, the Warsteiner beer brand reached a sales volume of 2.7 million hectoliters, with the national market coming in with 2.2 million hectoliters, representing a slight 2.3% decrease compared to 2010. The consolidated revenue of the Warsteiner Group reached 522 million Euro in 2011 after the sale of the Argentinean business.
