Warsteiner Launches Website Redesign
Warsteiner, an international premium beer brand, is pleased to announce the launch of its new worldwide website, Warsteiner.com, providing a fresh look to the brand, while still keeping Warsteiner’s historic foothold in the brewing industry. Following this debut in Germany, a subsequent website for the United States will launch July 29, with The Netherlands and Italy also taking place this month.
“Nowadays, checking the Internet is just as commonplace as watching TV and listening to the radio,” said Marco Gruhn, marketing manager at Warsteiner International KG. “We want consumers to be able to experience Warsteiner online and connect with the brand in the most accessible way possible.”
Saint Elmo’s Interaction, based in Berlin, is responsible for the concept, the design and technical execution of the sites, which feature additional information about the Warsteiner brand, including the product quality and brand history. The new sites are consistent with Warsteiner’s re-branding efforts, and build on the packaging redesigns from 2009.
New site sections focusing on the Warsteiner beer, the worldwide brand, and the brewing culture have also been integrated into each site. The “Our Beer” area presents Warsteiner brand’s international product range; the “Brewing Culture” introduces fans to the Warsteiner beer-making process.
Each site features a simplistic design but also strives to engage visitors in interactive content. For example, an animated globe highlights the more than 60 countries worldwide where customers can purchase Warsteiner products. On-site video depicts Warsteiner employees in the production, filling, research and development, quality assurance and logistics department in the Warsteiner Group. Movie clips also spotlight key milestones in the Warsteiner Brewery’s history, dating back to 1753. Then see the brewery up-close in the “Our Warsteiner World” section, the first online glimpse into the tours given year-round at the brewery in Warstein, Germany.
“Consumers are now much more in control of deciding what information they want to receive,” continued Gruhn. “Our new website design meets these specialized needs, and offers up-to-date opportunities to interact with the Warsteiner brand.”
