San Miguel Brewery completes purchase of parent's overseas beer business
San Miguel Brewery Inc. (SMB) has completed the acquisition of the international beer business of its parent conglomerate San Miguel Corp. San Miguel, partly owned by Japan's Kirin Holdings, financed the acquistion by external debt for about $300 million.

Ukraine Seeks 4 Million-Ton Barley Agreement With Saudi Arabia
22.05.12 - Ukraine is seeking to reach agreement with Saudi Arabia on supplying as much as 4 million metric tons of barley to the Middle East country, Agriculture Minister Mykola Prysyazhnyuk said. Saudi officials will arrive in Ukraine next month to discuss an accord, Prysyazhnyuk said in a statement e-mailed yesterday. [more]
