SABMiller sold 3% more beer in first half financial year
International brewer SABMiller (SAB) on Wednesday said it sold 3% more beer in the first half of its 2012 financial year. Soft drinks volumes grew by 6% for the half year. This volume growth combined with selective price increases and mix benefits increased group revenue by 6% and group revenue per hectolitre by 3% in constant currency.
