SABMiller plc Aims To Acquire Foster’s Assets
Reports say that SABMiller plc has been cleared to launch a bid for Foster’s beer arm. Foster’s shares are up by over 4% this week as the market increasingly anticipates the sale of Foster’s beer operations. SABMiller plc is believed to be just one party looking at Foster’s operations, along with a number of other trade buyers and private equity firms.

Ukraine Seeks 4 Million-Ton Barley Agreement With Saudi Arabia
22.05.12 - Ukraine is seeking to reach agreement with Saudi Arabia on supplying as much as 4 million metric tons of barley to the Middle East country, Agriculture Minister Mykola Prysyazhnyuk said. Saudi officials will arrive in Ukraine next month to discuss an accord, Prysyazhnyuk said in a statement e-mailed yesterday. [more]
