SABMiller opens new brewery in Ulyanovsk
SABMiller RUS, a subsidiary of SABMiller plc, has opened its new Greenfield brewery in Ulyanovsk. The new plant is located on a 38-hectare site in the industrial area of the Zavolzhsky region of Ulyanovsk city. The brewery, with an overall investment of RUB7.2 billion, has an initial capacity of three million hl/year. The project has resulted in the creation of direct employment for over 300 local people, the company said.

Ukraine Seeks 4 Million-Ton Barley Agreement With Saudi Arabia
22.05.12 - Ukraine is seeking to reach agreement with Saudi Arabia on supplying as much as 4 million metric tons of barley to the Middle East country, Agriculture Minister Mykola Prysyazhnyuk said.
