SABMiller Hasn't Approached Castel on Beer Unit Sale
SABMiller Plc, the world’s second- biggest brewer, has made no approach to buy Groupe Castel’s African beer business, according to the unit’s chief financial officer. “There aren’t any talks,” said Guy de Clercq, CFO of Les Brasseries & Glaceries Internationales, or BGI. He was responding to a report in the London-based Times newspaper that SABMiller is in discussions to buy the Castel unit for more than 6 billion pounds ($9.6 billion). SABMiller declined to comment.

Ukraine Seeks 4 Million-Ton Barley Agreement With Saudi Arabia
22.05.12 - Ukraine is seeking to reach agreement with Saudi Arabia on supplying as much as 4 million metric tons of barley to the Middle East country, Agriculture Minister Mykola Prysyazhnyuk said. Saudi officials will arrive in Ukraine next month to discuss an accord, Prysyazhnyuk said in a statement e-mailed yesterday. [more]
