SABMiller goes hostile in takeover bid for Foster's Group
SABMiller will take a now hostile $9.5 billion bid for Foster's directly to shareholders after the board of Australia's biggest beer maker two months ago rejected a friendly offer at the same price. SAB told the Australian Securities Exchange it would make a conditional, off-market cash takeover offer for the entire company at $4.90 a share, less any dividend declared when Foster's releases its annual profit result next Tuesday.

22.05.12 - Ukraine is seeking to reach agreement with Saudi Arabia on supplying as much as 4 million metric tons of barley to the Middle East country, Agriculture Minister Mykola Prysyazhnyuk said.
