SABMiller Expands in Bottled Water
SABMiller Plc said it acquired Rwenzori Bottled Water Ltd. of Uganda as part of a strategy to buy beverage businesses other than beer producers in Africa. Rwenzori, based in Kampala and named after a mountain range that lies between Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo, has a 70 percent share of the Ugandan bottled-water market and had sales of about $18 million in its last financial year.

Ukraine Seeks 4 Million-Ton Barley Agreement With Saudi Arabia
22.05.12 - Ukraine is seeking to reach agreement with Saudi Arabia on supplying as much as 4 million metric tons of barley to the Middle East country, Agriculture Minister Mykola Prysyazhnyuk said. Saudi officials will arrive in Ukraine next month to discuss an accord, Prysyazhnyuk said in a statement e-mailed yesterday. [more]
