SABMiller Considering Purchase Of Brazil's Schincariol
Brewer SABMiller Plc is mulling to acquire Brazil's Primo Schincariol Industria de Cervejas e Refrigerantes, reports said Sunday. Privately-owned Schincariol is Brazil's second largest brewer. It has been put up for sale for around $2 billion. According to reports, Amsterdam, the Netherlands-based Heineken NV also has evinced interest in the Brazilian brewer.

Ukraine Seeks 4 Million-Ton Barley Agreement With Saudi Arabia
22.05.12 - Ukraine is seeking to reach agreement with Saudi Arabia on supplying as much as 4 million metric tons of barley to the Middle East country, Agriculture Minister Mykola Prysyazhnyuk said. Saudi officials will arrive in Ukraine next month to discuss an accord, Prysyazhnyuk said in a statement e-mailed yesterday. [more]
