SABMiller brings in new president for Ursus Breweries
Andrew Highcock is the new president of Ursus Breweries, replacing Gary Whitlie who has decided to retire after spending 27 years with SABMiller PLC. Highcock has previously worked for Pivovary Topvar, a company in Slovakia owned by SABMiller. Before joining the global brewer, he worked for Maxxium Worldwide as president of the company’s operations in Canada and managing director for South-Eastern Europe.

Ukraine Seeks 4 Million-Ton Barley Agreement With Saudi Arabia
22.05.12 - Ukraine is seeking to reach agreement with Saudi Arabia on supplying as much as 4 million metric tons of barley to the Middle East country, Agriculture Minister Mykola Prysyazhnyuk said. Saudi officials will arrive in Ukraine next month to discuss an accord, Prysyazhnyuk said in a statement e-mailed yesterday. [more]
