China Resources-SAB Miller JV acquires two breweries from Heineken
China Resources Snow Breweries (CR Snow), a subsidiary of China Resources Enterprise (CRE) and a joint venture with SABMiller, on July 13 announced that it has entered into agreement with Heineken Asia Pacific Breweries (China) Pte to acquire stakes in two breweries, which further strengthen its leading position in the China beer market. CR Snow is acquiring a 49 percent equity stake in Jiangsu Dafuhao Breweries Company and a 100 percent equity stake in Shanghai Asia Pacific Brewery Company from Heineken for a total cash consideration of about 870 million renminbi (USD135 million).

Ukraine Seeks 4 Million-Ton Barley Agreement With Saudi Arabia
22.05.12 - Ukraine is seeking to reach agreement with Saudi Arabia on supplying as much as 4 million metric tons of barley to the Middle East country, Agriculture Minister Mykola Prysyazhnyuk said.
