Russia to export brewing barley
Russia has all opportunities to completely meet the domestic demand and become the exporter of brewing barley, declared Daniel Briman, the council chief of the Union of Russian brewers, on June 7. According to him, the decrease of the sowing areas in Europe, the growth of consumption markets in China, India and the South-East Asia are the main backgrounds for such situation.

22.05.12 - Ukraine is seeking to reach agreement with Saudi Arabia on supplying as much as 4 million metric tons of barley to the Middle East country, Agriculture Minister Mykola Prysyazhnyuk said.
