Nile Breweries extends tree planting to Kabale town
Nile Breweries Limited (NBL), Uganda's leading beer maker, has extended its tree planting drive dubbed 'Green Towns Project' to Kabale town, said a company statement. Nile Breweries planted 465 trees on the streets of the town and Rugarama forest reserve under the town council. "Our project is part of Nile Breweries contribution to the greenery and beauty of Kabale town," said Ronald Mayanja Omugalanda, Communications Manager Nile Breweries Limited. The Green Towns Project complements the company's sustainable development. Nile Breweries is the leading producer of beer using local raw materials and a subsidiary of SABMiller plc, the world's second largest brewer.
