MillerCoors 4Q profits & sales drop
MillerCoors LLC saw fourth-quarter declines in both earnings and sales as volumes slipped across every brand category, the brewing joint venture's partners said Tuesday. MillerCoors, the, joint venture comprising the former Miller Brewing Co. of Milwaukee and the former Coors Brewing Co. of Golden, Colo., reported that net income for the quarter ended Dec. 31, 2009, increased to $102.2 million, up from $54.1 million in the same period the year before. Underlying net income, which excludes special items, including the costs of the June 30, 2008, integration of Miller and Coors, decreased 21.6 percent to $106.1 million compared with $135.3 million in the same period a year ago, co-owners SABMiller and Molson Coors Brewing Co. said.

22.05.12 - Ukraine is seeking to reach agreement with Saudi Arabia on supplying as much as 4 million metric tons of barley to the Middle East country, Agriculture Minister Mykola Prysyazhnyuk said.
