Kirin Holdings acquires 43.24% stake in San Miguel Brewery
Kirin Holdings Company Limited, a Japan-based producer of alcoholic beverages, has acquired 4,479.62 million shares in San Miguel Brewery, Inc., a producer of beer, from San Miguel Corporation, a food, beverage, and packaging company.

Ukraine Seeks 4 Million-Ton Barley Agreement With Saudi Arabia
22.05.12 - Ukraine is seeking to reach agreement with Saudi Arabia on supplying as much as 4 million metric tons of barley to the Middle East country, Agriculture Minister Mykola Prysyazhnyuk said. Saudi officials will arrive in Ukraine next month to discuss an accord, Prysyazhnyuk said in a statement e-mailed yesterday. [more]
