Kirin Group Plans To Merge Lion Nathan With Its National Foods Dairy Business
Japan-based Lion Nathan, a brewer company, would transform into one of Australia’s food and beverage groups, succeeding the takeover by Kirin Group. Kirin Group's Australian operations would be renamed Lion Nathan National Foods, provided shareholders of brewer Lion Nathan accept their takeover proposal.

Ukraine Seeks 4 Million-Ton Barley Agreement With Saudi Arabia
22.05.12 - Ukraine is seeking to reach agreement with Saudi Arabia on supplying as much as 4 million metric tons of barley to the Middle East country, Agriculture Minister Mykola Prysyazhnyuk said. Saudi officials will arrive in Ukraine next month to discuss an accord, Prysyazhnyuk said in a statement e-mailed yesterday. [more]
