Jordan buys 100,000 Tonnes feed barley in tender
Jordan's state grains buyer has purchased 100,000 tonnes of feed barley in a tender for the same volume from any origin which closed on Tuesday, European traders said. Price was said to be $277.90 a tonne c&f and origin was thought to be European.

Ukraine Seeks 4 Million-Ton Barley Agreement With Saudi Arabia
22.05.12 - Ukraine is seeking to reach agreement with Saudi Arabia on supplying as much as 4 million metric tons of barley to the Middle East country, Agriculture Minister Mykola Prysyazhnyuk said. Saudi officials will arrive in Ukraine next month to discuss an accord, Prysyazhnyuk said in a statement e-mailed yesterday. [more]
