GrainCorp raises $600m for malt purchase
GrainCorp has completed a $600 million capital raising to fund its purchase of the world's fourth largest malt manufacturer, United Malt Holdings. A book-build for retail clients finished on Thursday with new shares priced at $6.50 each.

Ukraine Seeks 4 Million-Ton Barley Agreement With Saudi Arabia
22.05.12 - Ukraine is seeking to reach agreement with Saudi Arabia on supplying as much as 4 million metric tons of barley to the Middle East country, Agriculture Minister Mykola Prysyazhnyuk said. Saudi officials will arrive in Ukraine next month to discuss an accord, Prysyazhnyuk said in a statement e-mailed yesterday. [more]
