Recently purchased United Malt Holdings -- which was renamed Graincorp Malt -- is expected to contribute $100m- $120m to group EBITDA. Announcing annual results last month, managing director Mark Irwin said he expected half the company's future earnings to come from value-adding to barley and wheat.

Ukraine Seeks 4 Million-Ton Barley Agreement With Saudi Arabia
22.05.12 - Ukraine is seeking to reach agreement with Saudi Arabia on supplying as much as 4 million metric tons of barley to the Middle East country, Agriculture Minister Mykola Prysyazhnyuk said. Saudi officials will arrive in Ukraine next month to discuss an accord, Prysyazhnyuk said in a statement e-mailed yesterday. [more]
