GrainCorp Buys United Malt For $655M
GrainCorp will acquire United Malt Holdings (UMH) of the U.S. for $655 million, Financial Times reports. The Australian grain storage and handling group purchased the world’s fourth largest commercial malt producer from buy-out firms, Champ Private Equity and Castle Harlan.

22.05.12 - Ukraine is seeking to reach agreement with Saudi Arabia on supplying as much as 4 million metric tons of barley to the Middle East country, Agriculture Minister Mykola Prysyazhnyuk said.
