D.G. Yuengling & Son Becomes Largest American Owned Brewer
According to the newest estimates from Beer Marketer's Insights, Yuengling surged last year with shipments up 16.9% to 2.5 million barrels, placing it eighth in overall U.S. market share, at 1.2%. So Pottsville, Pa.-based D.G. Yuengling & Son, has passed Boston Beer Co. as the largest U.S.-owned brewer that makes all its beer in the states. Boston, which grew by 8% to 2.4 million barrels, droppied to ninth place. Boston owns for example the Sam Adams brand.

Ukraine Seeks 4 Million-Ton Barley Agreement With Saudi Arabia
22.05.12 - Ukraine is seeking to reach agreement with Saudi Arabia on supplying as much as 4 million metric tons of barley to the Middle East country, Agriculture Minister Mykola Prysyazhnyuk said.
