Carlsberg Support Olympic Athletes
Carlsberg Malaysia, the official partner of Olympic Council Malaysia (OCM) recently presented its annual sponsorship of RM30,000 for the year towards the OCM-Carlsberg Athletes Retirement Scheme (ARS). "For 16 consecutive years, we have partnered OCM in the OCM-Carlsberg ARS which serves to protect deserving athletes with life insurance coverage," said Carlsberg managing director Soren Ravn. A total of 28 gold medalists in the Commonwealth Games and Asian Games will receive whole life policies worth between RM10,000 and RM100,000 each.

Ukraine Seeks 4 Million-Ton Barley Agreement With Saudi Arabia
22.05.12 - Ukraine is seeking to reach agreement with Saudi Arabia on supplying as much as 4 million metric tons of barley to the Middle East country, Agriculture Minister Mykola Prysyazhnyuk said. Saudi officials will arrive in Ukraine next month to discuss an accord, Prysyazhnyuk said in a statement e-mailed yesterday. [more]
