Carlsberg Q3 profit up 30% as market grows
Danish brewer Carlsberg A/S says third-quarter net profits rose 30 percent, boosted by improved market growth and warmer weather, and is lifting slightly its full-year earnings outlook. Tuesday's report showed a quarterly net profit of 1.95 billion kroner ($364 million), up from the 1.5 billion kroner recorded in the same period last year.

Ukraine Seeks 4 Million-Ton Barley Agreement With Saudi Arabia
22.05.12 - Ukraine is seeking to reach agreement with Saudi Arabia on supplying as much as 4 million metric tons of barley to the Middle East country, Agriculture Minister Mykola Prysyazhnyuk said. Saudi officials will arrive in Ukraine next month to discuss an accord, Prysyazhnyuk said in a statement e-mailed yesterday. [more]
