Carlsberg Group increases stake in Belarusian brewery
Baltic Beverages Holding AB, which belongs to the Carlsberg Group, has through a series of transactions increased its ownership in OJSC Olivaria Brewery to 67.8% in Belarus. Olivaria is now a full member of the Group and can obtain further access to the international expertise within sales and marketing as well as brewing technologies, according to a news release. OJSC Olivaria Brewery produces 15 sorts of beer under brands such as “Alivaria”, “Brovar” and “Data 1864”.

22.05.12 - Ukraine is seeking to reach agreement with Saudi Arabia on supplying as much as 4 million metric tons of barley to the Middle East country, Agriculture Minister Mykola Prysyazhnyuk said.
