Carlsberg And AB InBev In Talks For India Alliance
Two global rivals may be exploring sharing of production facilities to push ahead in a challenging market. Global brewing giants and rivals Anheuser Busch InBev (AB InBev) and Carlsberg A/S may have discussed the possibility of an alliance centered around sharing of production and distribution platforms in India's rapidly growing beer market, said at least two sources familiar with the developments.

Ukraine Seeks 4 Million-Ton Barley Agreement With Saudi Arabia
22.05.12 - Ukraine is seeking to reach agreement with Saudi Arabia on supplying as much as 4 million metric tons of barley to the Middle East country, Agriculture Minister Mykola Prysyazhnyuk said. Saudi officials will arrive in Ukraine next month to discuss an accord, Prysyazhnyuk said in a statement e-mailed yesterday. [more]
