Carlsberg: Aldaris is one of the key breweries of the group in Europe
Carlsberg Group brewing company wishes to consolidate its position on the Latvian market, as Carlsberg Group Vice-President Esko Pajunen said during a visit to Latvia yesterday.
According to Pajunen, Carlsberg Group's long-term goals include consolidating its position in the group's markets, therefore it is interested in the development of local breweries and will offer technological and scientific support for the local breweries, as well as use the experience that these breweries have accumulated .
The joint-stock company Aldaris, thanks to its traditions and vast experience, is one of the key breweries of Carlsberg Groupin Europe. It is the local breweries that will be able to react to changes in their home markets the fastest and in the best way, as Aldaris corporate relations manager Laura Krastina told LETA.
Breweries all over the world are going through changes, as do all other businesses at a time of a global crisis. Right now, beer consumers are interested in natural, quality beer at attractive prices, as well as environment-friendly production process and convenient packaging, said Pajunen.
