Canada seeks global brand strategy for barley
The Winnipeg-based Canadian Malting Barley Technical Centre is working to come up with a branding strategy to market Canada's barley to the world. Federal Agriculture Minister Gerry Ritz announced Friday that the centre, which is based out of the Canadian Grain Commission building in downtown Winnipeg, will receive more than $400,000 from Ottawa for its role in the project, which also includes the Malting Industry Association of Canada and the Brewing and Malting Barley Research Institute

22.05.12 - Ukraine is seeking to reach agreement with Saudi Arabia on supplying as much as 4 million metric tons of barley to the Middle East country, Agriculture Minister Mykola Prysyazhnyuk said.
