BESTMALZ in-house
BEST Special malts from BESTMALZ / New malt roasting house
Individually brewed beers reflect the individuality of breweries and the diversity of beer. Many beer specialities increasingly use special malts. As a result of this trend we have decided to build a malt roasting house in addition to the new logistics centre. The new plant will be used to produce many different special malts in small and large batches. Caramel and roasted malts in particular can be produced and supplied with a colour spectrum ranging from 7 to 1,500 EBC (3 to 550 Lovibond) in line with specific customer wishes.
When designing the plant we have paid special attention to manufacturing special malts with consistently high quality. The green malt that we use for the production of caramel and roasted malts is produced using the same procedure as that used for our Pilsner, Munich and Vienna malts. In this way we can ensure that all special malts also satisfy the quality requirements of customers and as such do justice to the reputation for quality enjoyed by BESTMALZ. Raw materials procured in this manner represent the best foundation for a controlled brewing process and are the ideal foundation for excellent beer.
We can supply you with the following BEST malts:
We can deliver your malt as bulk goods or in a container, in a Bigbag or packed in 25 or 50 kilogramme (55 or 110 lbs) sacks in a truck, container or as packaged goods, also on a pallet if so wished.
Please download our current brochure which gives you further information on all the malt types and qualities of BEST Malt by just klicking here.
Work began on the construction of the logistics and malt roasting centre in May 2009. Commissioning will take place in October/November 2009.
