Asia Pacific Breweries (APB) first-quarter net profit rose 65 per cent
Asia Pacific Breweries (APB) said its first-quarter net profit rose 65 per cent to S$115.7 million. Revenue for the quarter ended December 2010 increased 35 per cent to about S$857 million, owing to stronger sales in Singapore and Malaysia as well as volume growth and price increases in Vietnam.

Ukraine Seeks 4 Million-Ton Barley Agreement With Saudi Arabia
22.05.12 - Ukraine is seeking to reach agreement with Saudi Arabia on supplying as much as 4 million metric tons of barley to the Middle East country, Agriculture Minister Mykola Prysyazhnyuk said. Saudi officials will arrive in Ukraine next month to discuss an accord, Prysyazhnyuk said in a statement e-mailed yesterday. [more]
