AB InBev wins new round in 'Bud' as a trademark
Anheuser-Busch InBev won a round in its long-running legal battle with it's Czech rival to secure the "Bud" trademark in Europe. The European Court of Justice sent the case back to the lower tribunal (The General Court) for a new ruling. It seems the lower tribunal made some mistakes in siding with Czech brewer Budejovicky Budvar in its bid to block AB Inbev from securing the Bud name.

22.05.12 - Ukraine is seeking to reach agreement with Saudi Arabia on supplying as much as 4 million metric tons of barley to the Middle East country, Agriculture Minister Mykola Prysyazhnyuk said. Saudi officials will arrive in Ukraine next month to discuss an accord, Prysyazhnyuk said in a statement e-mailed yesterday. [more]
