AB InBev talks to unions fail - blockade continues
Talks to resolve a blockade of Belgian breweries by workers of Anheuser-Busch InBev have failed, and the protests are set to continue into a second week. The beer-making giant held mediated talks with union representatives on Thursday, but with both sides sticking to their position, no result was achieved.

Ukraine Seeks 4 Million-Ton Barley Agreement With Saudi Arabia
22.05.12 - Ukraine is seeking to reach agreement with Saudi Arabia on supplying as much as 4 million metric tons of barley to the Middle East country, Agriculture Minister Mykola Prysyazhnyuk said. Saudi officials will arrive in Ukraine next month to discuss an accord, Prysyazhnyuk said in a statement e-mailed yesterday. [more]
