All malt products are available in whole kernel or milled form. An additional 1 - 5 days may be needed to mill products.
Prices are discounted according to the total malt ordered on a single order. These price breaks are as follows: 2,000 lbs., 4,000 lbs., 8,000 lbs., 16,000 lbs., 32,000 lbs.
2. Saatenstandsbericht für Sommergerste 2012 in Deutschland
22.05.12 - Nachdem die Angabe der Anbauflächen für Sommergerste beim 1. Saatenstandsbericht auf Schätzungen der Landesförderverbände für Braugerste in Deutschland beruhen, gaben sie lediglich einen ersten Trend wieder. Seit 2. Mai gibt es erste Flächenprognosen für den Anbau von Sommergerste vom Statistischen Bundesamt. Auch bei diesen Zahlen handelt es sich noch um Prognosen und nicht um endgültige Anbauflächenzahlen. Krombacher Kronkorkenaktion: Bereits über 1 Mio. Euro für den Klimaschutz
21.05.12 - Es sind aktuell bereits über 1 Mio. Euro für das Klimaschutz-Projekt zusammen gekommen. Mit dem Stand vom 21.05.2012 sind es genau 1.144.165 Euro. Die Gelder werden für Wiedervernässung und Aufforstung der Torfmoorwälder im Sebangau Nationalpark in Borneo, Indonesien verwendet. Durch die Kronkorkenaktion werden bis zu 50.000 Hektar Moorfläche zusätzlich geschützt. Für die Umsetzung der Klimaschutz-Maßnahmen sorgt der WWF. [mehr]
Getreideernte 2012: Deutsche Bilanz bleibt eng
21.05.12 - Die Regenfälle der letzten Wochen die Aufwuchsbedingungen regional stabilisiert, dennoch bleibt der Ertrag und die Produktion beim Wintergetreide deutlich unter den ursprünglichen Erwartungen. Zudem mussten bei Winterweizen, Wintergerste und auch bei Raps mehr Flächen umgebrochen und mit Sommergetreide bestellt werden als bislang gedacht. Wegen des deutlichen Zuwachses bei Sommergetreide und Mais schätzt der Deutsche Raiffeisenverband (DRV) die Gesamternte jetzt um eine Millionen Tonnen (Mio t) höher auf insgesamt 42,4 Mio. t. Der Inlandsbedarf liegt nach den Berechnungen der Bundesanstalt für Landwirtschaft und Ernährung (BLE) jedoch zwischen 43 und 44 Mio. t Getreide. [mehr]
